Rhode Island knocks off Holy Cross 92-75

KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) Delroy James scored 21 points and had eight rebounds to lead Rhode Island to a 92-75 victory over Holy Cross on Sunday.

James led five Rams (2-0) in double figures as they controlled the game from the start.

Lamonte Ulmer scored 13 points, Keith Cothran had 11 and Akeem Richmond and Marquis Jones added 10 points each for the Rams. Will Martell and Jamal Wilson joined James with eight rebounds each. (MORE)
